Albert Kinsey Thues II (2016)
Albert Kinsey Thues II enrolled at Miles College from Franklinton High School, Franklinton, LA. Albert lettered in Football and Baseball. Albert was recruited and awarded a scholarship to play Football as wide receiver, and Baseball as 2nd Baseman, under Coach Cecil Leonard and Coach Willie Patterson. Albert attended Miles College from 1995-1998. He was an honor student who excelled in the classroom and on the field. Albert earned recognition as Most Valuable Player in the 1998 Season; ranked number three in the nation with a .647 batting average and 33 stolen bases. Albert currently holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. Albert is currently a Mathematics Teachers.
Albert’s community involvement: Teacher for underprivileged youth (17 years), Jackson-Olin Softball Coach (2000-2005); Currently Head Baseball Coach, Wenonah High School, Member of the Fred Horn Industrial League( Buck Village Stars)-17 years, Tutor (University of Alabama-Birmingham).
Member: New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Christian Fellowship Athletes, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
