Christian Suttle (2007)
Christian Suttle graduated from Huffman High School in Birmingham in 1993. He received an athletic scholarships in football and track at Kentucky State University. He played as a defensive back and a 400 meter dash athlete for the Thoroughbreds from 1991 to 1996. In the spring of 1998, Christian enrolled at Miles College where he played defensive back under Head Coach Cecil Leonard. In 2000 he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Miles College. Christian began his teaching career in the Cobb County School System. Where he coached football and track for Walton High School. He received the Assistant Coach of the Year award in 2004-2005. He has been the head Track Coach at Walton High School since 2005. This year, he was appointed Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Walton High School. Christian’s quest for academic excellence continues as well. He attained his M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Jacksonville State University in 2007. His family includes his wife, Cappie, and five children: Tatiana, Brennen, Mason, Connor and Grant.
