Derrick Reese (2012)  

Derrick Reese accepted a scholarship to Miles College and was a member of the football team from 1995 to 1999, under the direction of Coach Cecil Leonard. A team leader, Mr. Reese played several positions on the field, including cornerback, punt returner, kick returner-and running back. Derrick Reese was selected to the Black College All AmerIcan Team in the positions of first team offense and defense. He is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and helped support storm recovery programs by supplying water to affected individuals. Derrick Reese has also served as assistant coach for the Ensley Broncos. An ardent supporter of Miles College, he counsels the students on campus and attends all the football games.
