DON D. SCOTT (2010)

Don D. Scott entered Miles College on an athletic scholarship and distinguished himself on its basketball team under Coaches Percy "Chio" Caldwell and McKinley Young. Mr. Scott led the basketball team in scoring in the 1981 and 1982 seasons. He was honored as Team MVP in and Tournament MVP in 1982. Mr. Scott earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1982, as well. An employee of Delta Airlines, Mr. Scott has done volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and provided assistance to Haitian earthquake relief efforts. Mr. Scott is also a devoted member of Andrew United Methodist Church.
