George T. French Jr (2012) ​

George T. French, Jr, President of Miles College has been a capable, able leader and contributor to the school’s growth and success for the past 16 years. Even though he matriculated at other institutions of higher learning and came to Miles College the completion of his studies, he has consistently a devotion and dedication to our school. George T. French, Jr is concerned about all departments and divisions, along with all the faculty, staff and students here, He has committed himself to building upon the visions of his predecessors, our school’s former leaders. As 14th President of Miles College since 2006, Mr French strives to maintain our school’s fiscal stability and academic standing, and he enjoys rooting for all the Golden Bears teams. George C French, Jr is involved in several community activities, including memberships with the United Negro College Fund, National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education, The Singleton Foundation, various pastorates, the National Board of the NAACP and as Youth Chapter President with Kentucky State University. A dedicated educator, family man, community activities participant and Milean, George T. French, Jr is a wonderful addition to the Miles College Sports Hall of Fame.
