Jennifer Lynn Minor 2011
Jennifer Lynn Minor was born in Starkville, MS. Growing up as an only child. Jennifer found comfort around other children through playing sports. Through the years from junior high to high school, she excelled tremendously in the sports of volleyball, basketball, and track. Winning the 6A State Championship in track her junior year was one of her most memorable accomplishments. Upon graduating in 1999, she was offered a scholarship to play basketball at Miles Collage in Fairfield, AL. While attending Miles, Jennifer excelled in basketball but softball became her second passion as well. Her hard work and dedication to helping her team be the best paid off. During her senior year, she captured the title of the 2003 NCAA Division II Statistical Champion for the Highest Batting Average in the country. In 2004, Jennifer would go on to graduate from Miles College with a degree in Political Science.
Today, Jennifer continues to stay involved in sports as well as staying healthy and fit. She is very active in the gym and she also plays softball in recreational league for women and a co-ed team every year, traveling to various tournaments as well. Jennifer currently works in sales and continues to pursue her career in modeling. A future in law enforcement is one of her biggest dreams. Jennifer may be an alumni at Miles now but you can still find her cheering and screaming at Miles College sporting events. A former athlete and a strong supporter of Miles athletics, Jennifer feels like Miles College was definitely the right place for her. She would love to pass the tradition along to the next generation. Jennifer is the proud parent of a beautiful daughter, Trinitee Jenea Minor.
