Ocie Brown (1986)

Ocie Brown played football at Miles College under the legendary Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Thomas J. "Mule" Knox from 1956 to 1960. Because of his dynamic speed and agility, Ocie Brown was nicknamed, "Go Go", "It was now you see him, now you don't". Had Ocie Brown played at a major college or university at the Division One Level, he would have easily been selected to play professional football as a premier running back. Ocie Brown was Miles College Golden Bears Head Football and Track Coach from 1968-1971. Ocie Brown was inducted into the Miles College Sports Hall of Fame in 1986 as the best Running Back to play on any Miles College Football Team, documented.
