Reginald W. Abbott (2012)

Reginald W. Abbott has known about Miles College since his boyhood days. He grew up in the housing development behind the school, and was fortunate enough to be offered a scholarship to attend college. Though he was not a presence on the Golden Bears teams, he has worked with several coaches, including Pete Wilkins, Gus James, Wade Street, Billy Joe, Leon Jones and Dr. Knox. After college, Reginald Abbott accepted a position at Miles College. He has served as our equipment manager and utility worker and has over twenty-eight years of service. Reginald Abbott has participated in the national youth sports program for several years as his contribution to community involvement activities. He and his wife, Sandra, are the proud parents of three daughters and two sons, and have over twenty grandchildren. Reginald Abbott has a love for Miles College, as demonstrated by his devotion to the school as a sindent, team supporter and loyal employee.
