Reginald Ruffin

  Coach/AD Ruffin served as coach of the Miles College Golden Bears Football Team from 2011-2021. During this tenure as head coach at Miles, he won 4 SIAC Championships, 6 Western Division Championships, 2 SIAC runner-ups. Coach Ruffin was named SIAC Coach of the Year 3 times, coached 2 NCAA playoff games, and 1 NCAA Bowl game. As AD, the athletic department became a perennial powerhouse in athletics and academics. This help elevated the visibility and reputation of Miles College. Ruffin continues to support Miles College financially by securing the FEDEX Grant in the amount of $250,000.00 and the State of Alabama Public Health grant in the amount of $150,000.00. ​
