TIENIKANASHA "TIKA" SCRUGGS (2011)

Tienikanasha Scruggs, affectionately known as "Tika" to friends and family, attended Miles College on an athletic scholarship. "Tika" participated in many sports, including softball, basketball, volleyball and track. She received all tournaments teams' recognition every year she played on the volleyball team. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work, she continued her education at Middle Tennessee State University, earning a Master's degree in Education. "Tika" has served as volleyball, basketball and softball coach at Hillwood High School and Cane Ridge High School in Nashville, Tennessee. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
